The Children's Birthday Cake Book,The Australian Women's Weekly, ACP Books, $14.95Self-proclaimed as "Australia's most famous children's cake book", this Women's Weekly classic with the train on the cover will bring back memories for many people. Since it was first published in 1980, a multitude of mothers have used musk sticks, liquorice allsorts, food colouring, cachous and Smarties to transform butter cakes into tip trucks, racing cars, swimming pools, lions, tennis racquets, jet planes, pirates, castles, even a cooking stove for their children's special day.
